Visible Leadership Moments
Visible Leadership Moments
Not every important leadership moment involves a presentation.
In fact, most leadership communication happens in everyday situations.
A difficult conversation with a colleague.
A meeting that needs steering in the right direction.
Giving honest feedback.
Persuading people to back an idea.
Handling disagreement without things blowing up.
These are the moments where leadership really shows up.
And they're not easy but it's communication that makes the biggest difference when leading a business through change.
Communication in the real world
Most leaders were never properly taught how to handle these situations.
So they improvise.
Sometimes that works.
Sometimes it really doesn’t.
The good news is these skills can absolutely be learned.
Over the years I’ve run workshops and coaching sessions helping leaders handle the communication moments that shape relationships, projects and culture.
Areas we often work on
Typical sessions focus on things like:
• influencing and persuading
• giving and receiving feedback
• handling difficult conversations
• running successful meetings
• communicating with confidence in groups
• dealing with disagreement constructively
Sessions are interactive and practical.
People practise real situations they’re dealing with, not theoretical case studies.
(And usually we manage to have a bit of fun with it.)
The result
Leaders leave able to:
• handle challenging conversations more confidently
• influence decisions more effectively
• run meetings that actually achieve something
