CEO Speech Writing
CEO - SPEECH WRITING
If you were to watch ten presentations and one of them made you laugh (just a bit more than the others!), which one would you remember?
You need to make a keynote speech – perhaps it’s a company anniversary, or the annual speech to conference. You’ve written one yourself, your marketing manager has written one and you’ve paid a professional speech writer. But none of them has really given you what you want.
Writing it yourself is ludicrously time-consuming and it’s not your strength. Your marketing manager isn’t a speech writer (talented as they are). The speech writer you employed didn’t “get you”.
At this point you’ve probably got three choices if you want to improve your speech.
- Employ someone to coach your speech writer
- Get someone to coach you
- Book Jack Milner!
Writing Your Speech
Jack Milner collaborates closely with you and your support staff, learning as much as possible about you, both professionally and personally. The next step is to set goals for the speech or presentation and develop themes. We then determine which themes are most compelling and present them to you. Next is writing/scripting an outline ideally with you, the speechmaker. We then go away and write the draft of the speech or for those who prefer, fine tune an outline.
What makes Jack different?
- Jack is one of the country’s foremost humour coaches so adding humour that is natural and right for the speechmaker is a doddle
- As you may have gathered, Jack is a pretty good executive presentation skills coach. So coaching the speechmaker in making the speech is also… a doddle.
- The whole experience is collaborative. Once you’ve agreed to having Jack as your coach, it’s, yes, you’ve guessed it… a doddle!
Jack can help you with a range of speeches including:
- Keynotes
- Road shows/investor presentations
- Major sales presentations and sales meetings
- Board presentations
- Shareholders’ meetings
- Employee communications
- Video scripts
- Webcasts
- Political campaigns
